Cards	One standard deck of 52 cards.
Object	Be the first to score 121 points, playing hands and forming card patterns.
		* Novice Mode: Computer opponent plays with slightly less skill.

Deal	You and your opponent take turns dealing each hand.
Each player is dealt six cards.
Starter Card	The next card is flipped face up, and is called the "start" or "starter" card.
If it is a jack, the dealer scores "two for his heels".

Crib	Each player tosses two of his cards into the "crib".
The crib does not enter play, but is scored by the dealer after the hand is played.

Play	The first card is played by the dealer's opponent.
Each player takes turns playing a card, and a total is kept.
Cards add their rank value to the total (face cards add 10).
Score During Play	Each card played can score points when combined with previous cards to form a scoring card pattern (see "Scoring" below).
31	Cards are played until a total of 31 is reached, or until no more cards can be played without exceeding 31.
The player who played the last card scores a point, or 2 points if the total is 31.
The total starts over at zero, and play continues until no cards remain.

Hand Score	After play, each player scores his hand.
The starter card is included with the hand for scoring.
The dealer's opponent scores his hand first.
After the dealer scores his hand, he then scores the crib hand.

Scoring	Various card patterns can score points during and after play.
15	2 points scored for card ranks that total 15.
Face cards (jack, queen, and king) count as 10.
2 of a Kind	2 points scored for two cards with the same rank.
A "2 of a kind" is one pair.
3 of a Kind	6 points scored for three cards with the same rank.
6 is scored because a "3 of a kind" can form 3 pairs (2 points each).
4 of a Kind	12 points scored for three cards with the same rank.
12 is scored because a "4 of a kind" can form 6 pairs (2 points each).
Rank Sequence	1 point scored for each card in a rank sequence of at least three cards.
The cards do not need to be played in sequence order to score.
Flush	4 points scored if all four cards have the same suit.
Score another point if the starter card also has the same suit. The crib hand can't score this one.
Flushes are not scored while the cards are being played.
One for his nob	1 point scored for the jack of the same suit as the starter card.

Perfect Hand	A perfect hand is a jack and four 5's, with one of the 5's as the starter card, and the jack matching it's suit, for a total of 29 points (eight 15's, 4 of a kind, and one for his nob).
